Expressions of Love

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought that this was a very appropriate video to share...

(My favorite is the guy who says "It just has to be forever!)

"Love is what inspired our Heavenly Father to create our spirits; it is what led our Savior to the Garden of Gethsemane to make Himself a ransom for our sins. Love is the grand motive of the plan of salvation; it is the source of happiness, the ever-renewing spring of healing, the precious fountain of hope. As we extend our hands and hearts toward others in Christlike love, something wonderful happens to us. Our own spirits become healed, more refined, and stronger. We become happier, more peaceful, and more receptive to the whisperings of the Holy Spirit."
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

President Howard W. Hunter said that love is the only way the world will know peace. (source) If everyone in the world showed love all of the time - to everybody, the world would be a very happy place, no matter how different we all are from each other.

For the Spirit to dwell in our homes, we have to show love and kindness for our family.
When everyone in your home is kind to one another, it will be more enjoyable to spend time with them. You will want to be around them more!

I found the following quote given by David A. Bednar in this article...

“Each of us already knows we should tell the people we love that we love them. But what we know is not always reflected in what we do. We may feel unsure, awkward, or even perhaps a bit embarrassed.
“As disciples of the Savior, we are not merely striving to know more; rather, we need to consistently do more of what we know is right and become better.
“We should remember that saying ‘I love you’ is only a beginning. We need to say it, we need to mean it, and most importantly we need consistently to show it. We need to both express and demonstrate love.

Show others how much they mean to you! Tell them often that you love them, and do things to show it. When you do this, they will always know that they are important and cared for.

John 14:15 - If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Never forget that one of God's commandments is to love your neighbor...

And never forget that He loves YOU unconditionally.
