no. excuses.

No, this isn't a post on chastity. :)

And I love the music they use in the backgrounds of these videos. :)

Okay.

Elder Holland kinda calls out all the young men in this video... but of course, this can apply to many, many people. Not just young men who hold the Priesthood. :)

In the beginning when I first watched it, I felt all guilty and thought of what a terrible person I am... haha. But it ends happy and has a very good message.

"This is a life and death contest we're in, young men."

When I watch this video, it hits home what an important battle I am fighting... the outcome of this battle doesn't just affect my life. It affects my eternity. It affects the eternities of those around me.

And the straight path... it truly is narrow. And you really have to work if you want to achieve your eternal goals. They won't just be handed to you... of this, I am certain.

We talked a little about lame excuses in seminary today...

----------

Luke 14

15 - And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
16 - Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 - And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 - And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 - And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 - And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

24 - For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

----------

So... we decided that "I have married a wife" was the lamest of the three excuses for why the men couldn't come to supper. :)

You know, I try really hard not to be too blunt when blogging. But I like how Elder Holland... well, he really is pretty blunt sometimes.

Because, as he said, nothing else seems to work.

To be honest, there are a lot of things I don't know.
I don't know what my future holds - or what yours holds.

But I know that my God doesn't want excuses.

He wants no more Oh I'll go to church every week and I believe everything I hear... but that's enough spirituality until next Sunday.

No more Oh I'll tell my kids the scriptures are true, but I don't need to read them.

No more then I'll repent or I'll start praying tomorrow.

He isn't in need of hearers only.

Our God needs DOERS!!!

Think of the Conference talks we have heard just recently.

We have sheep to feed.

Lives to bless.

People to save.

We have work to do! And now is the time to be fully converted!

No more excuses.

No more hypocrisy.

(Not saying you are a hypocrite and of course I am not exempt!)

There are people out there who need you.

They need the Gospel and you are the one meant to bring this Good News to them.

So do good.

Be good.

And show your gratitude for God - and for all that He has given you.

And do whatever it takes to become truly converted so you can fight this battle.

no. more. excuses.

Because I have chosen to fight for what is right.

And I need you on my side.

a marked generation (2)

This kid is hilarious.

I seriously cracked up at multiple parts during that video.

"That is genuinely as specific as they get on this one..." haha.

----------
I shared this quote in an earlier post, but I think it is really great and goes well here...

For nearly six thousand years, God has held you in reserve to make your appearance in the final days before the Second Coming. Every previous gospel dispensation has drifted into apostasy, but ours will not.... God has saved for the final inning some of his strongest children, who will help bear off the kingdom triumphantly. And that is where you come in, for you are the generation that must be prepared to meet your God...." Make no mistake about it you are a marked generation.

- Ezra Taft Benson
(read more)

----------

My birthday is December 21. And just for that reason the world had better not end on that day.   (:

Anyways.

The end is definitely coming... I notice signs every day...

But, as you learned in the above video... it probably isn't coming next month.

We have no idea when it is coming.

So it is smart to be ready. Just in case.

And to tell you the truth... I am incredibly excited.

I want to meet my Savior and fall at his feet. I want to have all my memories from my pre-mortal life back. I want to have my entire family back together. I want to thank my pioneer ancestors. And thank my prophet Joseph Smith.

I want to know what happened to Amelia Earhart, the Roanoke Colony, and Anastasia Romanov...
How the pyramids were built and what's the deal with the Bermuda Triangle...

I want to feel like everything is perfect and good and I can be happy constantly.

I want to live in peace and love and gratitude with those who love Christ.

I try to keep in mind that I came to prepare earth for His coming.

I was watching the trailer for Lincoln today (which I am very excited for...).

And I heard a really good quote.

"Think we choose to be born? Are we fitted to the times we're born into?"

wow.

Just the fact that you live on the earth right now should be a witness to you that you are a special and valiant and chosen child.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't been born in this challenging time in a world full of temptations.

But then I take a step back... which is often required... and I am honored.

I love my life in November 2012. It isn't perfect, but it is good enough.

I am honored to be given the privilege of sharing the gospel with others.

The possibility that I might be able to save someone else shakes my soul and gives me the chills.

I am not perfect. I procrastinate my homework. I start projects and don't finish them. I say dumb things. I am not the perfect sister or the perfect friend. I complain too much. I thank people too little. I thank my Savior too little. I don't eat healthy and I don't read enough. I don't recognize God's hand as much as I should. I get frustrated too quickly and I go to bed too late.

But I am blessed and honored to be marked among this generation.

I know that I am good enough.

I know that you are, too.

I know that my Savior loves me and is always by my side.

And I love him.

I want him to be proud of me.

I don't want him to regret sending me to earth in 1996.

So I will work hard. I will not let him down.

I will be the child he wants me to be.

Because even though our earthly existence is only a sliver of our eternity...

It is a pretty important sliver of time.

a heightened desire to serve

"Only when our testimony transcends what is in our mind and burrows deep into our heart, will our motivation to love and to serve become like unto the Savior's. It is then, and only then, that we become deeply converted disciples of Christ and powered by the Spirit to reach the hearts of our fellow men."
-Russell M. Nelson (Afternoon Session)

I suddenly had the increased desire to do missionary work about a year ago. I say suddenly, but really, that was a step in my conversion. Many, many things, over the course of my whole life, led to my desire to serve others and to share the good news of the gospel.

It's why I started this blog. It was the first thing that popped into my head... An easy way to share my thoughts. Maybe not everyone will read them, but a few will, and if you can change the lives of even just a few... well, you've done your job right.

When I talk to my nonmember friends, it seems that that desire - that unexplainable need to do missionary work (what my friend Sydney would call a pulsing of the heart) - almost explodes inside of me.

Those people are happy. You can live a happy life without the gospel. But can you live a fulfilled life? (haha... kinda reminds me of that post I did a few days ago... )

The gospel has brought me comfort.
Enlightenment.
Understanding.
A true appreciation for sacrifice.
The belief in an Almighty God - One who loves unconditionally and would never forsake.
It's eased my burdens in an unspeakable way.
Taught me to hope.
Taught me to love.
Taught me to trust.
Given me a love for people.
Taught me that there is a balance in all things - a reason for every trial and triumph.
Shown me the beauty of humanity.
The goodness of the human spirit.
Taught me to marvel at God's creations.
Instilled in me the knowledge of who I am and what my Divine Purpose is.
Given me a sense of amazement and awe at what my Savior has accomplished.

The list truly could go on and on.

And if I can help just one person to partake of the glorious freedom and joy that the gospel has to offer... I will be the happiest, most successful person alive.

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

(-Emily Dickinson)

A strong desire to serve God's children came with the desire to share the gospel. The two are inexplicably linked together.

It's why I'm going to Fiji, although I am a strong believer that the most meaningful service you will ever do will be among your own peers.

I am still going to jump at the chance to serve people of another culture, though. The chance to see the world and interact with people that are living in such a different way from me will be an amazing experience.

The desire to serve is a strong one that has also been blooming and blossoming and maturing within me for a long time.

But never before has it been so strong.

The age change for missionaries announced today was maybe one of the biggest answers to prayer that I have ever had.

It was actually an answer to unspoken prayer, because although I have been worrying and wondering about a mission, I'm not sure I ever brought my thoughts to the Lord.
He knows my heart, though.

I'm pretty sure it's the only major announcement that the church has made that I can remember...

(I guess that it depends on what you would consider a major announcement, but I can't remember another that directly impacted me and affects me the way this one does.)

I've sorta briefly described my change of heart toward missionary work and service. For a while now, I have had the strong desire to serve a mission, but I've never totally known if I would.

I mean, you never know what I will be doing by the age of 21. Maybe I will want to get married by then. And I don't feel like putting a family on hold for a mission is a good choice for me to be making...

I wanted to go on a mission so bad, but it was always still kind of a maybe.

Well it is not a maybe anymore.

I freaked out when I heard that announcement, and I have been giddy with excitement all day.

Like every time it crosses my mind, my heart fills with so much joy - I can hardly begin to explain it.

And there is no uncertainty at all - not the slightest of a doubt in my mind - what I will be doing when I turn nineteen.

I am so excited and so grateful that I won't have to wait to leave or wait to make that decision.

One of my sweetest tender mercies.

And I think - because of the sweet miracle that took place for me in the first five minutes - this has been my favorite conference so far. Ever.

And the talks have been great. Have you tried taking notes?

I just thought of something that we read in seminary yesterday... (I took a picture of the following quote with my iPod so I could share it with you guys...)

Brother Brigham took the stand, and he took the Bible, and laid it down, he took the Book of Mormon, and laid it down, and he took the Book of Doctrine and Covenants, and laid it down before him, and he said, "There is the written word of God to us, concerning the work of God from the beginning of the world, almost, to our day. And now," said he, "when compared with the [living] oracles, those books are nothing to me; those books do not convey the word of God direct to us now, as do the words of a Prophet or a man bearing the Holy Priesthood in our day and generation. I would rather have the living oracles than all the writing in the books."

This is of course not to say that the scriptures aren't important. The scriptures are the word of God and the prophets that wrote in them were Divinely called and their words apply to us today.

The Book of Mormon has been called the keystone of our religion, the most perfect book that exists today.

But even above those books, are the words of our Prophet and the apostles who are on the earth today.

I pray that each of you will tune in to conference tomorrow and listen to the amazing and essential advice that the Lord's disciples have to offer you. Whether you watch from the seats in the conference center, the pews in your stake center, the couch in your family room, or your spinny-computer chair...

I know that you will feel the Spirit witness to you that the words being said are true... that the amazing speakers you will listen to are truly conveying the Lord's will to you.

10:00-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm MDT.

You guys are awesome.

Happy Conference Weekend.

good news

Did you know that the definition of Gospel in the Bible Dictionary is simply "Good News"?

"We have a glad message to share and we have a message of joy."

"Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary, use words."

Share the Gospel as often as you can! The simple and easy things really do add up!
You never know what sort of impact you might have. (<= click!)

You, my friends, could change someone's eternity because of a mere moment.

you can save lives...

I've been wanting to write this post for a week now... but I included some of the following stories and thoughts in a talk I gave in Sacrament Meeting today.

So... I didn't want to give it away on here before I actually gave the talk.

But I still wanted to post it for those of you who are not in my ward. So. Here you go.

----------

You know... I think that when you gain a strong testimony and you realize the happiness and fulfillment that the Gospel brings to your life... you naturally gain a desire to share that happiness with others.

It's why I started this blog.

You can do missionary work wherever you live - amongst nonmembers or even members of the Church.

I know that some people get scared to share the Gospel with their friends.

I mean, lots of things can go wrong. Maybe you don't know an answer to one of their questions. Maybe you find that your testimony isn't strong enough. Maybe they won't accept your beliefs.

Well... Let those fears go.

Because I know that if you pray about it... Heavenly Father will tell you who needs the Gospel... and who will accept it.

D&C 84:85 - Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man.

Study the scriptures. Pay attention in church. Like the above verse explains, if you are treasuring up and learning about that which is good... you will know how to answer questions about the Church.

The Spirit will remind you what you read or heard in the very instant you need it.

But the Spirit cannot remind you of something that you never read/heard in the first place.

So seek knowledge. And do not be afraid that someone will ask you a question.

And remember... you can always say "I don't know, but I will try and find out".

Now... I like to play soccer.

And something that I've learned from soccer is that just one touch on the soccer ball... can change the whole game.

The same is true with our lives. One touch by the Master can change someone forever.

And something you say... even something little that you will forget about tomorrow... could change someone forever too.

You just never know.

Let me illustrate that with a couple stories.

First of all... let me share with you the story of Wealtha Bradford Hatch.

Wealtha was born in 1804 in Maine. She married Ira Stearns Hatch and they ended up living near Farmersville, New York.

She was a wife. She was a mother.

But she was no one incredibly significant to history.
(If you are one of her descendants... you might disagree with that (: haha. )

Anyways. After the Church was organized in 1830, missionaries were sent west to preach to the Lamanites (indians).

The specific missionaries in this story were Oliver Cowdrey, Peter Whitmer, Jr., Ziba Peterson, and Parley P. Pratt.

Recognize some of them? Sweet. :)

These missionaries went to preach to the Catteraugus indians that were living on a reservation very near where Wealtha and Ira lived.

So Wealtha got her hands on a Book of Mormon. And she read it. And she wanted to join the Church.

This was a time of heavy persecution of Mormons, so her husband asked her to wait a while and see if the persecution kinda died down.

Well... a year and a half later the missionaries had looped back around... and Wealtha was done waiting. She was seven months pregnant and they cut a hole in the ice for her to be baptized.

A couple years later, her husband, Ira, went to meet the prophet in Kirtland, Ohio. I guess he decided that he was ready, because he joined the Church shortly afterward.

Eventually, Ira and Wealtha went west with the saints to Nauvoo. There, Wealtha died of cholera.

Okay. Why am I telling you this? Why is her story special?

Well... Wealtha had seven children. If you count up her children and their converts, and their children and their converts... up until the present day... you can trace the membership of over a million members of the Church today back to the decision that Wealtha Bradford Hatch made in 1832 to join the Church.

Does that make sense? Crazy.

Okay. One more example. This post is getting long.

Abinadi. Abinadi went about preaching the Gospel. He ended up being killed for it - which was ordered by King Noah.

After all that sacrifice... Abinadi only ended up with one convert. Alma.

Well, let's take a look at who descended from Alma.

Alma ==> Alma the Younger ==> Helaman ==> Helaman ==> Nephi ==> Nephi ==> Nephi

Many of Alma's descendants ended up writing in the Book of Mormon.

Actually, we pretty much have half of the Book of Mormon because of Abinadi.

And just look at how many people the Book of Mormon has converted!

So... hopefully we learned the effects that just one touch has on generations to come.

It's amazing. Amazing.

You truly have no idea what could result from you sharing the Gospel with just one person.

You can save hundreds or thousands or millions of lives... who knows.

And greater than that... you are saving their eternities.

D&C 18:15 - And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!
16 - And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!

It's so amazing to think about how happy and grateful you and so many others will be far into the eternities for your decision to share the Gospel.

Even if it's just by being a good example... or bearing your testimony in front of a friend...

The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Oh. One more quote. Then I'm done.

"Your call has eternal consequences for others and for you. In the world to come, thousands may call your name blessed, even more than the people you serve here. They will be the ancestors and the descendants of those who chose eternal life because of something you said or did, or even what you were. . .You see, there are no small callings to represent the Lord."
- Henry B. Eyring

I guess you just never know.

P.S. Hopefully this freakishly long post can last you a week. I will be at Girl's Camp until Friday!! :)
(I'm thinking of auto-posting a great EFY song for Wednesday... So tune in then...!)

How Great Shall Be Your Joy...

!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this song to be accessible for WEEKS!!! I've been checking youtube and grooveshark over and over again!!!

So I am uber excited about this...

The chorus is the best part.

And we are here to serve our King
Children of the most high
And this is good news that we bring
As we labor, gladly bringing souls to Christ!

D&C 18
15: And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!
16: And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!

Missionaries come from all over the world... from all walks of life. Missionaries change hearts. They save lives.
More than just lives, they save people for eternity.

I also like this part in the song:

Born the son of humble converts,
And I'm here to pay it forward.

Whether you are a convert or not... sharing the Gospel is a way to show gratitude for the knowledge that you have and to help your Father help others.

An instrument in His hands...

Oooohhh... I just love this song.

Is there anything more noble than serving your King?

Whether you're a missionary or not... share the Gospel. Don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, because you could make a difference.

I heard a radio interview where Steven Kapp Perry was interviewing a Palestinian woman. She was a convert to the church, and you know what got her interested in Mormonism?

She moved from Palestine to the U.S. to go to BYU here in Utah. She met a lot of Mormon friends who invited her to go to General Conference with them. There, she heard an apostle (or maybe the prophet; I can't remember...) mention Palestine.

She was so impressed, because you very rarely hear people refer to that area of the world as "Palestine". People always say Israel.

She was so impressed, in fact, that she got in touch with the missionaries and ended up joining the church.

I thought that story was really cool, and after listening to the interview, I thought about what a difference that one little action made in her life. Just the word he used.

Now the word Palestine did not convert her... but it sparked interest.

And led to her conversion.

The same thing could happen to you. You might think about all of the little missionary experiences you have had with friends, and you may feel like you haven't really made a difference.

But you never know.

You could be impacting someone's life in ways you can't even imagine.

"... how great shall be your joy..."

My Conference Highlights [Part Two] - Judging and Sharing the Gospel

Why am I blogging at this hour? It is TOO LATE for me to be blogging right now... whatever... I am going to die at soccer practice tomorrow... I suppose I will worry about that then. :)
     (Bad idea)

So. I suppose that I will finish up my General Conference favorites...

-----

A:

I would first like to talk about something that Elder Quentin L. Cook said in his talk last Saturday afternoon. (full talk here.)

     I loved these two lines...
"Our great desire is to raise our children in truth and righteousness. One principle that will help us accomplish this is to avoid being overly judgmental about conduct that is foolish or unwise but not sinful."

That last part that I have bolded really stood out to me.
     Here's why:
I am in ninth grade. I go to a school with seventh, eighth, and ninth graders.
Can I just tell you how incredibly immature some junior high kids can be? It is seriously ridiculous.
I'm honestly not thinking of certain kids, and there are plenty of kids who are very well-grounded and are realistic about things... but still.

I hear things all of the time that cause me to wonder, "WHO THE CRAP CARES???"

Haha... well...

Then I listened to General Conference. I realized that if kids - or adults - care about things that seem really dumb and pointless to me... it really doesn't matter.

None of it is my business anyway, I mean, I shouldn't be judging them either way, but that talk by Elder Cook made me realize that if something matters to someone else, that's fine, and I shouldn't question it or let it bug me.

Ya know, people all mature at their own rate. Some people may never grow out of the drama that seems so pointless to me right now...
     But... some people will.

Life is a journey. We should spend our entire earth lives learning and growing. We just all do it differently, and that is perfectly fine.

If people like to chat about dumb stuff, I'll be okay with that. I will stop judging. They usually aren't even doing anything wrong.

I suppose that I was the one doing something wrong after all.

-----

B:
My last thought that I starred in my General Conference notebook was from David F. Evans' talk found here

He said:
"The work of naturally and normally sharing the gospel with those we care about and love will be the work and joy of our lives."

Naturally and normally

I totally can relate to this one.
I remember in elementary school, around second or third grade, me and some other girls actually bribed a girl with jolly ranchers if she would listen to us tell her about the Church during recess.
I mean, that's pretty funny. I kinda laugh about it now.
BUT, for some people, even as they get older, this seems to be their method of sharing the gospel. Granted, maybe not with jolly ranchers, but some people are so desperate to share the gospel with their friends, that they end up making it an awkward, forced situation.

Fast forward. I have several friends now that are not  members of the Church, and I'm fine with that. I really wish that everyone would be eager and ready to hear the gospel right when they meet you, but that's understandably not often the case.
There have actually been many days at lunch when our conversations have naturally shifted to religion. That is when you share with them your feelings on the gospel, as long as they are willing to listen.

I promise you... so much more will be accomplished if you are not forcing the messages on someone.
I think that we all think of converting someone as a cool idea, and we hope that we have the chance to do that someday. If that happens, it will be because they opened their heart and were willing to listen.
Do not approach it the wrong way or always pester someone if they don't want to talk about religion. Just be patient, and hopefully they'll come around.

Use Media to do Good!

Okay... a different sort of post today...
That video above seriously amazes me... There were good things and bad things shared in that video, but I think that it overall gives you a good idea at how CRAZY our world is today. You have to be really careful on the internet, because there are things that are terrible and scary out there... But the internet (And all forms of media) can be a good thing too. Those good things are what I want this post to be focused on.
----------
"Because of its sheer size, media today presents vast and sharply contrasting options. Opposite from its harmful and permissive side, media offers much that is positive and productive. Television offers history channels, discovery channels, education channels. One can still find movies and TV comedies and dramas that entertain and uplift and accurately depict the consequences of right and wrong. The Internet can be a fabulous tool of information and communication, and there is an unlimited supply of good music in the world. Thus our biggest challenge is to choose wisely what we listen to and what we watch."
-M. Russell Ballard
----------
There is a huge difference in the types of media produced by the church a couple of decades ago to now. Ha - I'm thinking about some of the older videos made by the Church that now seem a little cheesy to us... not that they didn't have good information, they were just made in a time when media wasn't all that it is now.
You've probably noticed that I very rarely do a post without an accompanying video. I actually have more posts labeled under "videos" than anything else. There are hundreds of videos made by the Church that all share wholesome and uplifting messages... and they are very well-made.

The internet is a brilliant way for many of us to do missionary work. I suppose that's sorta my goal for this blog... I want to share my thoughts on gospel principles with lots of people. You can do the same. (And you don't have to create a blog...)
-Share Church videos on Facebook!
-Visit the Church's website often!
-Create a profile on mormon.org!
-Follow mormon.org, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (that was a lot to type), and many others on Facebook for inspirational messages!

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Do not be ashamed of the gospel! Share it with your friends!

And lastly, don't forget that the internet can be bad, but can also be an awesome resource full of good things. I love the internet! And it's probably obvious to you that I spend a lot of time on it... just don't forget that you need to be careful. Monitor how much time you spend on the computer and watching TV. Nothing replaces spending good family time together.

The media is a POWERFUL thing. Use it to do good, not bad.

P.S. Did you know that those three dots that people use in the middle of a sentence is called an ellipsis? I'm noticing that I use the ellipsis a lot... (Ha ha - I suppose I just did it again!)

Did one of my posts leave a lasting impression on you? I'd love to hear about it! Comment below!

Young Women General Meeting 2012: Arise and Shine

D&C 115:5 - Verily I say unto you all: Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations;

What a brilliant idea and theme for all - not just the youth... because others WILL notice your example... good or bad. If you hold high standards and never sway in them, people will see the light of Christ shining in your countenance.

And they will want that light.

So don't be afraid to share the gospel with a friend. I promise that it will bless your life and also the life of that person. You can be an instrument in the Lord's hands.

Oh yeah, and don't forget about General Conference next weekend! Help spread the word with the following video:

An Introduction to Missionaries

Why do we have missionaries? What do they do?

Unfortunately, many people think that our missionaries are out to advertise our church... that we just want to increase our numbers. I hope that they come to realize that this is not so.
The people in this video... they have the light of Christ in their eyes. You can see it, and it is almost tangible.
The young people in this video - and missionaries all over the world - they have seen and experienced the pure happiness that the gospel brings... it doesn't make your life perfect, but it makes it meaningful, and it makes it easier to deal with everyday things.
The gospel gives you a new perspective and helps you know what you need to do to live with God again, to obtain eternal life.

We just want to spread that happiness. It changes lives. When you have experienced such joy and comfort from this gospel, it's hard to not shout it to the world... I know Christ lives! I know the Church is true!  Sharing the gospel is a pleasure. You bless the people that you teach, and you find great joy in the process.

Not only do missionaries change people's lives for the better... they really do change their own. They change their own lives in a delightfully wonderful way.
Some missionaries are converts to the Church themselves, and just want to pay it forward.

Others were born into the Church, and can't imagine living life without the gospel... so they feel the need to share it.

All missionaries have one thing in common. They have the desire to serve their King.

And it creates a ripple effect...

Jeremiah 16:16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
